The Sörbyn-Sundsnäs Homestead Association's museum is located in the old schoolhouse in Sörbyn. It houses a collection of objects that tell stories of the village and the surrounding area, among them the works by craftsperson Berit Berin.
These objects are remnants of past educational and agricultural practices, and provide an account of how the land used to be worked before farming involved heavy machinery. The building houses Berits Halmmuseum (Berit's Straw Museum) with objects by craftsperson Berit Berin, which during the Luleå Biennial 2022 is presented at Havremagasinet in Boden.
